Hi. folks,

It’d been so long that I blogged on Fashion. There are a lot of fashion posts that I want to post. However, I will be doing those once I am back from my tour. Yes, I am traveling to Himachal Pradesh 🙂 Yay!!

This blog post is going to be about how to style one pair of denims in five ways.

The jeans I am featuring here is a denim capris from Lee Cooper, which I got in a sale from Big Bazaar. Continue reading

How To Style A Saree? #Sareez.com

Hi, Folks,

Saree is the best Indian outfit. Yeah, Salwars may come, Lehangas may go, but Saree goes on forever (pun not intended). I personally love Sarees; although I don’t wear them often, I love the times that I wear them. This outfit can be a bridesmaid outfit, sister-of-the-groom/bride outfit, or a simple wedding guest outfit.

How to style a printed leggings?!

Hi, Gorgeous People,

At times, my mom makes me feel like the ugly duckling; her fashion sense is so impeccable that I look up to her despite the age gap. Ha… We always look up to moms, don’t we? Well, recently, she started to have a thing for online shopping & she liked the printed leggings from HueTrap. She made me order 3 of them. The one I am sporting in this post is her favorite.

For The Chaotic Yet Beautiful Woman in You – Long Skirt OOTD – Jabong-W

Hi, gorgeous people,

Recently, I have been obsessed with skirts, especially the long and full-flared ones. My sister and I found something today about styling skirts. We found that Midi or Just Below Knee Length skirts suited her a lot, but not me. However, long skirts adored my body better than it did on her. After gazing at mirror for a lot of time, we found that women with longer midriffs can sport full length skirts better, while petite women can rock in midis. Don’t believe me? See this!

#TraditionMyWay – I am going crazy about Indo-Western!

Hi, Gorgeous People,

Firstly, I am sorry, I have not been very active in the recent times. I have been sick (still sick), and I hope to recover soon. A separate post on that coming soon. As of now, I wanted to share with you guys an OOTD. Well, as I am sick, I can’t wear much but skirts, these days. No to jeggings, leggings, jeans, and pants for a while. I quickly stocked up as many skirts as possible. While most skirts are either traditional or completely western, I wanted to spice up by Diwali by creating #TraditionMyWay. My way is totally Indo-Western.

I didn’t get to wear this outfit on Diwali as I was too sick on that day, so I thought of wearing it today to a luncheon I went with my friends to Azzuri Bay.

What I Wore On A Kodai Trek? #KodaikanalDiaries

Hi, gorgeous people,

One year back, my friends and I went to Kodaikanal. It was an impromptu trip. Kay, Vee, and I went to some Tamil comedy movie in the end of June 2014, and suddenly, Kay and I started to convince Vee on how nice it is to go on a trip again! Yeah, we went to Goa in Feb month. Not even six months from the last trip, Vee was reluctant at first, and then somehow he got convinced *travel bug bit him you see* So, we were set to go to Kodaikanal as a weekend getaway. I will write the full story sometime soon as a blog post under Stri’s Travel Diaries section. Right now, let me tell you what I wore when we trekked hills in Kodaikanal.

Hi, gorgeous people,

One of my close friends dropped by at my place from Delhi, and we planned to roam, shop, watch a movie, and doll up. So, yeah, I thought I would wear the black jumpsuit that I shopped in Delhi. We also bought a matching belt in gold for it. It looked super chic. Here is the look!

Mom’s B’Day OOTD & iTokri Shopping experience – Website Review #1 – Ethnic #7

Hi, gorgeous people,

It’s my sweetheart’s b’day today. Yeah, my beautiful angel turned sweet 66, can yoi believe it? Well, I couldn’t. She does chores promptly and with interest like a 10-year-old, cracks jokes like a 16-year old, looks like a 40-year-old. Well, that’s what makes her 66, I guess. Well, I can keep appreciating the beauty she is, but let’s move on to the post. What I wore on her B’day?

CONTEMPORARY LOOK #2 – Shopping Spree

Hi, Gorgeous People,

Last Sunday, I went on a shopping spree with my sister and niece. Most of us won’t dress up well while we go for shopping, as we prefer comfort over fashion while shopping. Recently, I started dressing up for every outing I go as it makes me feel confident, and above it keeps me away from the stresses that Krish has been giving me (:P) So, excited to know how I managed comfort and fashion together on this look? Oh, wait, first have a look at the look.

Party Look #2 – What I wore for Sun TV Awards Show?

Hi, Gorgeous People,

I wanted to have a peaceful and calm weekend, but on Saturday, early in the morning, at 7:40 AM my best friend called to invite me to her company’s (Sun TV) award ceremony. It is similar to the awards shows by channels like Star Plus, etc. I initially wanted to turn down the offer, but finally accepted as I had no concrete reason to say No. As this was an impromptu party for me, I didn’t have much time to finalize my clothes, so I ended up wearing a saree that I wore on my sister’s house warming ceremony. Here, have a look:

Ethnic Look #3 – Churidhar

Hi Gorgeous People!

Not fully back to daily blogging yet. However, I hope to be back soon with a big bang. As of now, I am writing a post now and then, whenever possible, so bear with me. Today’s OOTD is simple and elegant ethnic look with a churidhar. I hope you will find it interesting.

Churidhars are something that is considered to be the most comfortable yet traditional wear in India. I am no exception to the other Indian women that I also have a variety of churidhars. When I posted this particular picture as FB DP, my friends felt this was too perfect and I need to blog about it. So, here it goes. Surprisingly, I have done ZERO make-up (yeah, not even moisturizer or lip balm) – I know it’s not advisable to step out without sunscreen, et.al. but I took the risk since I felt to sport zero make-up that day. 10418218_896368527046634_6533519196372100246_n Continue reading

Contemporary Look #1 – Azzuri Bay – Lunch Date

Hi Gorgeous People!!

Today I happened to visit Azzuri Bay Restaurant which is present in Adyar with my best friend for a lunch. I totally loved this place and I had reviewed it here in Zomato (do give it a read!). Also, all the pictures that are posted below were clicked by my bestie Soundharya who blogs at Sound’s Take On It (show her some love). This is the 3rd entry in the StyleBook and this time it is a contemporary look with Jean and Sleeveless Kurti. I personally loved my look today and do read it over and tell me if you liked it (in the comments section).

Ethnic Look #2 – Cotton Kurta & Leggings!

Hi Gorgeous People!!

Here is the second entry to my StyleBook and yet again with an Ethnic Look. Recently I visited this excellent tourist resort called Dakshin Chitra, near MGM in ECR, Chennai. Since it was a long drive from home and also because it was an ethnic village resort I chose to go desi with Kurta and leggings. The whole outfit is simple and just not more than anything necessary. Here is a brief about the Outfit of the Day (OOTD) and please do share your thoughts on it.

Here is a look at the outfit, footwear, bindi, and earrings!
