Kailash Parbat – A Food Court Experience Review

Hi, Folks,

Last evening I had a chance to visit The Forum Mall. We planned to drop by Lifestyle and Max stores to check out the ethnic wear collections for Diwali. Needless to say, I did shop more than I wanted to. However, this post is not another OOTD, but an eatery review. Since both my friend and I were hungry, we went to the Food Court as soon as we entered.

Both of us love North Indian Khana, so our obvious choice was Kailash Parbat. I generally don’t review eateries that are in Food Courts of malls, but the food court in this mall was well-maintained and spacious that it felt like a normal dining experience.

SERVICE: It’s self-service. Most of the food items were ready in prior, like the briyani, gravy, etc. So, the food was available within minutes. Therefore, this is good for people who love to grab something super quick. Continue reading

Styling A Vidya Balan Saree – ft. Sareez.com

Hi, Folks,

This was one fun post I loved working on. Yes, it’s not everyday I get to wear a saree and style it to perfection. However, from now on, you will find me in at least one ethnic outfit per month.

Well, coming to the post, I adored the saree that Vidya Balan wore to Koffee With Karan. She is known to wear sarees that are quite bold and beautiful. I am not a big fan of her, but I am a big fan of any good fashion, and this black saree with gold jewellery is classic fashion.

Back to School OOTD – ft. M&S

Hi, folks,

This weekend has been crazy; with so many back to back photoshoots for my blog, I am now exhausted. However, on the positive side, I will be writing and sharing a lot of blog posts with you in the forthcoming days.

Coming to this post, recently I had a chance to visit the Forum Vijaya Mall, this was my first shopping experience in this mall. When I used to be in Bangalore, I loved the Spar/Auchan store. It was convenient and affordable. When I entered this mall, I was happy to see Spar, and I immediately entered there. After shopping a few basics there, my next halt was at Marks & Spencers.

To the guy I currently love…

Hey, you,

Yes, you, the guy I am currently head over heels in love with. No one will understand my love for you; people wish us luck to our face but may judge us at our back.

We can’t blame them. We don’t fit into the society’s square of thoughts. We have been in love with different people before. We have kissed different people before. We lost our ‘virginity’ to someone we loved way before we met. Neither we were each other’s first, nor we promised to be each other’s last.

5 Reasons Why You Should Shop At Big Bazaar Maha Bachat

Most of you know my preference for Big Bazaar. They are one of the supermarkets that have everything a shopper needs. From my hair curler to my cabin luggage, from my teddy bear to my long skirt, I got them all from there. They often give some amazing deals and offers. Here are some of the reasons stating why you must be shopping from Big Bazaar, especially during Maha Bachat.

  1. Your long weekend is there! Long weekend, no travel plans? Unwind with shopping for apparels, grocery, home decor, and what not! My mom is planning to do all her long pending shopping plans during this long weekend.
  2. Offers like never before! While Big Bazaar already has offers, these additional offers are an icing on the cake.
  3. 5 Day long sales! Generally most deals are for 24 hours! The Maha Bachat is for 5 days! The more the time, the merrier the shopping experience.
  4. Buy 1 Get 2 Free! Well, gone are those days of Buy 2 Get 1 or Buy 1 Get 1. Now, we have Buy 1 Get 2 in many products, especially for men’s wear!
  5. Offers on furnitures! Getting offers on furnitures is a big deal. Maha Bachat gives that! So, all the more fun, especially if you are moving to a new home or refurbishing your home post this aadi season.

What are you waiting for? Oh wait! If you have a payback card for Big Bazaar, your points gets accumulated too. Isn’t that amazing? Go ahead, shop till you drop, and then shop a bit more.

Well, don’t believe me? Check out for yourself with this TVC.

Mantra – Palace Of Good Vibes

When I was invited to review this store, I was skeptical. I cannot call myself a super religious person. I am part religious, part spiritual, and part pantheist. However, I finally accepted to review this store, and I am in fact glad about it.

Mantra, located right next to Sri Sankara Hall in Alwarpet, is a beautiful store that not only specializes in religious idols and articles, but also in many home décor artifacts. The two-storied store has a collection of artifacts ranging from lamps, kuthu vilaku, kamakshi vilaku, temple bells, religious idols, name boards, and other décor fixtures.

Hi, Folks,

Saree is the best Indian outfit. Yeah, Salwars may come, Lehangas may go, but Saree goes on forever (pun not intended). This outfit can be a bridesmaid outfit, sister-of-the-groom/bride outfit, or a simple wedding guest outfit.

De Moza – A Store Review

Hi, Folks,

I was recently invited to review the De Moza store in Phoenix Market City, Chennai. After checking their site, I was quite amazed about their products, so I decided to visit there.

What do they sell?

What started as a leggings store for kids and ladies, now sells tops, palazzos, capri leggings, printed leggings, crop top, etc. Their primary material is Viscose, but they do have other materials.

Price: Starts from Rs. 399

  1. They have amazing collections. There are a plenty of colors to choose from.
  2. The quality seems quite good.
  3. Rates are quite on the reasonable range.
  4. Has signature style of clothing.

  1. Staffs could have been better trained. Only one staff was helpful and professional.

You can buy this outfit for as low as Rs. 1699 at DeMoza, PMCC.

Do I recommend? Yes

Smytten – Truly Smitten :)

Hi, Folks,

One of my colleagues recently suggested me to download the “Smytten” app. I was skeptical because I have a lot of apps on my phone that are pretty much not used. However, the moment I downloaded it, I understood that this is an amazing app.  Once you download this app, you need to wait for 24 hours to get an activation mail. I got the mail in less than four hours though. After that, you can go and start applying for free samples.

Six Degrees – Game Of Blogs: A Book Review

Hi, Folks,

You know you are an avid book reviewer, and your review opinions are unbiased and that they matter, when you receive the book you co-authored for your review. Ha! Yes, this is my book that I have on my review table today. Before getting into the review, as an co-author for this book, some of the questions that I faced from my blog followers and friends were, “Why is this book expensive?” “Why is it not available in stores yet?” “Did you write the whole book?” “Did you edit it?” Well, to start with, this book is a child of 3 teams, each team had 8-10 writers. The book is expensive because it has not one but three 30,000 words novella in it. It is available in Amazon, Flipkart, and other sites, and it will be available in the stores very soon. Of the three stories, I co-authored the story titled “Entangled Lives.”
