Back to School OOTD – ft. M&S

Hi, folks,

This weekend has been crazy; with so many back to back photoshoots for my blog, I am now exhausted. However, on the positive side, I will be writing and sharing a lot of blog posts with you in the forthcoming days.

Coming to this post, recently I had a chance to visit the Forum Vijaya Mall, this was my first shopping experience in this mall. When I used to be in Bangalore, I loved the Spar/Auchan store. It was convenient and affordable. When I entered this mall, I was happy to see Spar, and I immediately entered there. After shopping a few basics there, my next halt was at Marks & Spencers.

12 Ways to Style A Skater Dress

Hi, gorgeous people,

The first question a guy I recently met for a few times asked me is, “Don’t you ever repeat clothes?” I was like, “Hmmm… We haven’t met so many times yet!” When I was telling about this to my sister, she said, “Don’t worry, you can see the same guy for 2 years & still not repeat clothes, you have so many.” However, it’s not like I have wardrobe like a movie actress. When it comes to dresses, I have very limited ones. That’s when I wondered how to wear my favorite dress in different ways to different occasions without making it repetitive.

How to style a printed leggings?!

Hi, Gorgeous People,

At times, my mom makes me feel like the ugly duckling; her fashion sense is so impeccable that I look up to her despite the age gap. Ha… We always look up to moms, don’t we? Well, recently, she started to have a thing for online shopping & she liked the printed leggings from HueTrap. She made me order 3 of them. The one I am sporting in this post is her favorite.

For The Chaotic Yet Beautiful Woman in You – Long Skirt OOTD – Jabong-W

Hi, gorgeous people,

Recently, I have been obsessed with skirts, especially the long and full-flared ones. My sister and I found something today about styling skirts. We found that Midi or Just Below Knee Length skirts suited her a lot, but not me. However, long skirts adored my body better than it did on her. After gazing at mirror for a lot of time, we found that women with longer midriffs can sport full length skirts better, while petite women can rock in midis. Don’t believe me? See this!

How To Style A Floral Print Maxi Tube Dress?!

Hi, gorgeous people,

Most of you would have read my recent short story, Laya Krish. It was written for the first-of-its-kind collaboration event by CBC with Stylori. I would do a detailed post on the event experience before end of this week. Right now, I want to share the OOTD post from the day.

Most of you know that I am a freelance EmCee, I host mostly corporate events, but at times, I do fun events to. So, if you need a freelance MC, you now know who to contact 😛 But, yeah, CBC is like a family to me, and when the chance of co-emceeing the event came along, I was more than happy. I wanted to refrain to a simple skater dress, but then this happened.

#TraditionMyWay – I am going crazy about Indo-Western!

Hi, Gorgeous People,

Firstly, I am sorry, I have not been very active in the recent times. I have been sick (still sick), and I hope to recover soon. A separate post on that coming soon. As of now, I wanted to share with you guys an OOTD. Well, as I am sick, I can’t wear much but skirts, these days. No to jeggings, leggings, jeans, and pants for a while. I quickly stocked up as many skirts as possible. While most skirts are either traditional or completely western, I wanted to spice up by Diwali by creating #TraditionMyWay. My way is totally Indo-Western.

I didn’t get to wear this outfit on Diwali as I was too sick on that day, so I thought of wearing it today to a luncheon I went with my friends to Azzuri Bay.

What I Wore On A Kodai Trek? #KodaikanalDiaries

Hi, gorgeous people,

One year back, my friends and I went to Kodaikanal. It was an impromptu trip. Kay, Vee, and I went to some Tamil comedy movie in the end of June 2014, and suddenly, Kay and I started to convince Vee on how nice it is to go on a trip again! Yeah, we went to Goa in Feb month. Not even six months from the last trip, Vee was reluctant at first, and then somehow he got convinced *travel bug bit him you see* So, we were set to go to Kodaikanal as a weekend getaway. I will write the full story sometime soon as a blog post under Stri’s Travel Diaries section. Right now, let me tell you what I wore when we trekked hills in Kodaikanal.

CONTEMPORARY/PARTY LOOK #3 – LBDs – Little Blue Dresses

Hi, gorgeous people,

How have you all been? I just realized that my fashion blog needs more attention, and hence this post.  Well, LBDs are my favorite, just that unlike the rest who expand it as Little Black Dresses, I expand it as Little Blue Dresses. Yeah,  recently I realized that I have almost 4-5 LBDs (Read: Little Blue Dresses). Well, but all of them are unique, pretty, and sexxyy.. Yeah. I wore them for various occasions, and I thought why not club them all in to an OOTD.

CONTEMPORARY LOOK #2 – Shopping Spree

Hi, Gorgeous People,

Last Sunday, I went on a shopping spree with my sister and niece. Most of us won’t dress up well while we go for shopping, as we prefer comfort over fashion while shopping. Recently, I started dressing up for every outing I go as it makes me feel confident, and above it keeps me away from the stresses that Krish has been giving me (:P) So, excited to know how I managed comfort and fashion together on this look? Oh, wait, first have a look at the look.
