Thanks to Pratip Vijayakumar, a blogger and a new friend of mine, to guest post for me. Here’s a link to his blog. He is a moviebuff, TV Series fanatic, and book hoarder just like me.

About the Book:

Mockingjay is the 3rd book in Hunger Games Trilogy and thus comes the saga of Katniss Everdeen. Set in a dystopian world where an ordinary Katniss becomes a symbol of hope against the Autocracy of President Coriolanus Snow. Comparing to its predecessors this one was kinda sloppy book but the portrayal of Katniss Everdeen throughout the Trilogy was outstanding.

Memories:

I started reading the book only after the Movie popularised it. What made me read this book was Katniss Everdeen. I wanted to read how she was portrayed in the book and of course it was completely different with the book. All I understood then was books are way better than movies and no director could put a face to our favourite book characters except for few who succeeded in doing that.
